In The Slimy Shimmer, GIRTY experiences a metamorphosis that reveals empathy and gratitude while chasing a mysterious sparkle in the distance.

This book takes the reader through 32 pages and 518 words of surreal adventure powered by STEAM elements and aimed at 3-9 year olds.

In The Slimy Shimmer a curious and inventive girl named GIRTY finds herself chasing after a shimmering toad through a landscape of surreal nature and mountains of gifts taken for granted. The jeweled amphibian also catches the green eye of a man incapable of gratitude. Along the way GIRTY finds creative ways to keep up in the chase only to discover empathy, gratitude, and friendship.
